These terms cover your use of Paper Wars: the account site at paperwars.online and the game at play.paperwars.online (together, "Paper Wars"). Paper Wars is run by DOMAINCORD VENTURES LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or playing online, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Paper Wars.
Who can play
You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
You can play against the computer without an account. Online matches need one.
Your account
- Give a real email address that you can receive mail at. We use it to verify your account, reset your password and, if you leave turn emails on, tell you when it's your move.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person per account. Don't share accounts, sell them or sign up for someone else.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This also deletes the matches you created.
Playing fair
When you play or use Paper Wars, don't:
- pick a username that is offensive, impersonates someone else or advertises something
- cheat, including using bugs, automated play or modified clients to gain an advantage in online matches
- harass, threaten or abuse other players
- try to break, overload or get unauthorized access to Paper Wars, other players' accounts or our servers
- use Paper Wars for anything illegal
If you find a bug or security problem, please tell us at legal@domaincord.com instead of using it.
Our rights
We may change your username, restrict your account or delete it if you break these terms, or if we need to in order to protect other players or Paper Wars itself. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why.
Paper Wars, including its code, artwork, maps and the player guide, belongs to us. You may use it to play the game. You may not copy, resell or redistribute it without our permission.
The game is provided as is
Paper Wars is free, and we work on it in our spare time. We try to keep it running and your matches saved, but we can't promise that it will always be available, error-free or that match data will never be lost. We may change or remove features, reset rankings or match history, or shut Paper Wars down. If we plan to shut it down, we'll try to give account holders notice by email.
To the extent the law allows, Paper Wars is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from your use of Paper Wars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we'll tell account holders by email or on the site before it takes effect. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any dispute that goes to court will be heard in the state or federal courts for Orange County (Orlando), Florida. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
