Healing and transport
How medics heal in Paper Wars, and how transports, ferries and aircraft carriers load and unload units.
Healing
Medics restore HP to a wounded friendly land unit on a tile next to them.
| Unit | Heals |
|---|---|
| Medic | 4 HP |
- Select the medic, then click a friend with a green ring.
- A unit can't be healed above its full HP.
- Medics can't heal themselves, ships or aircraft.
- Healing uses the medic's action, so it can move first and then heal, but not the other way round.
Carrying units
Some units carry others:
| Carrier | Holds | Carries |
|---|---|---|
| Transport | 2 | Soldier, Medic |
| Ferry | 2 | Soldier, Medic, Tank, Transport |
| Aircraft Carrier | 2 | Fighter Jet, Helicopter |
Boarding
To board, move a unit onto a friendly carrier that has room. Boarding ends that unit's move. The carrier then moves as normal and takes its passengers with it.
A transport has to be empty to board a ferry, and a carrier that is itself aboard something can't take on passengers.
Unloading
From your next turn, select the carrier and press Unload for the passenger you want. Then pick one of the green tiles next to the carrier. The passenger has to be able to stand on that tile, so a tank can't be unloaded onto a mountain.
Unloading is the passenger's action for the turn, so it can't move or attack again until your next turn.
Safety on board
Passengers can't attack, and they can't be attacked either. But if the carrier is destroyed, everything on board goes down with it.
A ferry with a tank and a transport full of soldiers on board can land a whole strike force at once.
